Day 14 of the 14 Day Skit Challenge

I have come to the end of my challenge, and today was productive.

I lived it from off a to-do list, food, a prayer, and good sense, and good sense was easing myself into working through doing online interactive Old English exercises first, and taking breaks in between. I didn’t write 1500 words as I’d hoped, but I wrote just over 1300, and that is very good.

I also have more time to work on this now, as the concert I was seeing on Thursday has been cancelled.

I had a lovely evening, even if my friend and I mixed up where we were supposed to meet. We got there in the end. I had a good coffee initially whilst waiting for him at where I thought was the rendez-vous, and then we had a lovely dinner at the Greek place he thought was the spot. I remembered the two expressions of Greek he taught me. It was sweet. We talked about everything and anything, and were perfectly intellectual and nonsensical. It was an excellent evening.

And I’ve got over 40% of my target for the fundraiser!!! Boyyyyyyyyyyy. I am so pleased!

I’ve also been recommended a crazy looking musical by another friend – Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, which is about the events of 70 pages of Tolstoy’s War and Peace. It sounds and looks like good-natured insanity, and I am here for it.

Anyway, for the last slice of my own art (for now), here it is:

Good night 🙂
